Ben first commenced in Real Estate in 1988 here in the Narooma area. He completed his 3 year licensing course in the early 1990's and went on to open this office in 1999. Since that time Ben has continued to service property sellers in the area and establish the leading agency in Narooma. With 30 years experience he is without question the most knowledgeable and experienced person in the real estate industry in the southern part of the Eurobodalla Shire today.
Narelle is a joint Principal of Ben Bate Real Estate and has built an entire career in Real Estate, Marketing and Tourism. She initially worked in Marketing in Sydney in the early 1980's before a move home to Narooma where she spent 10 years as a Property Manager/Office Manager in a former Real Estate office. In 1998 she took a career turn and accepted a role as the Manager of the Narooma Information Centre which she held until 2008. Since then she has been involved with the development of our business and overseen the rapid growth of our holiday and permanent rental portfolio. Her knowledge and experience of the local market backed up by her unique understanding of how tourism works on this part of the coast is unmatched.
Belinda joined our office in 2005 following a move from Forbes in country NSW. She had a strong desire to make a career out of real estate and we were fortunate to have her join us just months after the birth of her first child. She brought a strong work ethic along with a genuine warmth and has managed to establish herself in the area as a very successful sales person. Her repeat clients are testament to the respect level she has personally created. Now in her 14th year here as a senior property sales consultant Belinda is one of the most experienced agents in the area.
Senior Property Manager
Vanessa brought a wealth of life experience to our office when she joined us in March 2018. With a long history devoted to customer service as both a chef and ski instructor in Europe while here on the South Coast she has managed an accountancy firm and was also receptionist at a very busy doctor's surgery. Her people skills and management experience are a welcome additional to our business.
Kath has joined the team in October 2019, bringing a wealth of experience with customer service focused roles. She loves people and enjoys dealing with them on a daily basis. Kath worked the early part of her professional career in the management team of PixiFoto both here in Australia and the UK.
This followed onto a career in account management that involved the ongoing responsibility for client satisfaction in products and services.
Given Kath’s experience with travel & life experiences, she will be able to offer a high level of client satisfaction.

A member of our team since 2004 Jenny bought a wealth of customer service experience to the office when she joined. A background in hospitality and success in the restaurant industry has seen Jenny bring an extra smile and level of enthusiasm to dealing with people. If you are fortunate enough to book a holiday or make a sales enquiry and Jenny assists you will know why so many of our customers rave about her.
Sales & Marketing
Amity has been with our office since 2017 and took maternity leave in 2018 for the birth of her second child. She is a born and bred local who ventured to Sydney to complete her education and university with a degree in Marketing. Amity has a love for our area which is totally understandable. In our office she specializes in our online presence and all facets of digital marketing as well as sales support.
